Supporting the B.C. flood relief

With the ongoing state of emergency in British Columbia, there are many families impacted this holiday season. In response, ARC donated $25,000 to Canadian Red Cross and an additional $10,000 to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau’s annual toy drive. ARC is proud to have a long history of giving back to our communities, it is core to who we are.

Flood relief and recovery

Following the devastating floods in November, Canadian Red Cross established the British Columbia Floods and Extreme Weather Appeal fund to help communities in the lower mainland. The Government of British Columbia and the Government of Canada are matching all Red Cross donations until December 26, 2021. This means that ARC’s donation is tripled in impact, growing the $25,000 to $75,000. Dollars raised will go directly to individuals and families impacted by the floods to support immediate needs related to their evacuation and re-entry.

Toy drive for Lower Mainland families

As the state of emergency continues, many families will have a different holiday season than they anticipated. This year, the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau has dedicated their annual toy drive to supporting families in the Fraser Valley. ARC has donated an additional $10,000 to the toy drive, providing toys for families impacted by the floods and mudslides and helping bring a little joy this holiday season.

Committed to our Community

Every year, ARC is privileged to positively contribute to communities where we live and work. This year has been no exception, with ~$1.5 million contributed to our community partners. We are fortunate to have incredible people working at ARC, who are passionate about giving back to their communities and working hard to put us in a position where we can make donations to those in need.
