Summer student program

Learn about the Canadian energy industry and gain valuable work experience with our diverse range of opportunities for prospective students. Positions in Calgary include engineering, operations, accounting, geosciences, finance, corporate services, and many more. You’ll be challenged with meaningful work projects that put responsible development first – and contribute directly to our business strategy.

Timing

Summer student positions begin in May for a four-month term. We also hire co-op and intern positions that range from 8 – 16 months. All student positions are posted on our career opportunities page and on various university job boards.

With a deliberate focus on high-impact learning opportunities, our Engineering Start program builds a strong foundation of industry and engineering experience. We’re looking for innovative thinkers who bring new perspectives to how we produce energy for the world.

Timing and eligibility

Our Engineering Start program begins in Spring, following graduation. The Program positions are posted on our career opportunities page and on various university job boards. Positions in our Start program are reviewed annually and determined based on business needs. Most of our new graduates are hired from our summer student and co-op alumni.
