Describe a typical workday:
I oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the plant, plan and safely execute special projects, and communicate between operations and my foreman.
Proudest accomplishment both in and outside of work:
I’m proud of the team we have built here at the plant. Helping to mentor and grow together with the team throughout plant start-ups and turnarounds has been an awesome experience. Outside of work, I am most proud of my family.
Favourite thing about working at ARC:
I enjoy getting to take part in the design and future plans for the plant – it keeps things fresh and exciting.
Learning and development opportunities:
I’ve been involved in the development of the area from the first day. Seeing what it can become in a such a short amount of time, while seeing how decisions are made on both the business and technical side, has been an amazing experience and something I feel grateful to be apart of.
Thoughts on the future of the industry as it relates to your field:
I think we’re in an exciting time and I look forward to seeing how the industry adapts and overcomes the challenges ahead.
